Happy 2010!

'Now that the new year is upon us, we are really excited to be moving forward and announcing new ideas and features. Our most aniticipated is the ebrew tracker, which is due for release in mid-January in private beta. The ebrew tracker is a customized system that helps everyone from the brewing beginner to the master brewer. With the ebrew tracker you will be able to build a recipe, record your batches and keep track of every batch you brew. If you are interested in participating in private beta testing for the ebrew tracker, please contact us.

Here's hoping that all trouble's in the past year are behind you and that 2010 brings nothing but good news and fortune for all! Who's Brewing would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and a Happy brewing!

New Updates for Members

'We have made some changes to make the WhosBrewing community more member friendly. As much as we love to write new articles and add information to the Knowledge Base, we have now made it possible for our members to do so too! Now after you sign up for a free user's profile, simply click on my settings and my knowledge base articles. From there you can add your own articles and edit them whenever you want. Other viewers will be able to rate your articles and use your helpful ideas and advice for their own brewing needs. This is a great way to be apart of the brewing community and share your ideas!

Another improvement we have made is with our new enhanced site search. You will no longer have to go through page after page to find what you are looking for. Now you can be specific with your search and get right to it. If you want to know everything there is to learn about Ale Beer simply type in Ale and let the learning begin! '

Cider Home Rules

'With the holiday season coming up fast one of our most popular requests are home brewed cider recipes.We understand that not everyone out there are beer drinkers, let alone beer brewers so check out our recipe page for cider recipes and remember this helpful tip if your home brewed cider still tastes sweet after about a week of fermentation, just give it some time! Keep your cider in an air tight container and give it about four weeks to let it fully complete itself. Skim the cider by removing the scum at the bottom and then wait to let the sweetness flavor settle and reduce the yeast build up. This helpful tip and others can be found in our knowledge base to help you achieve the closest thing to a perfect batch.'

'Spring is here let's brew some beer!! Who's brewing is on a quest to find new recipes that are light and refreshing to get you ready for the summer season. For you wine lovers spring is the season of love and what's more romantic that opening up a bottle of your own home made wine. Feel free to share your favorite light hearted,medium bodied wine recipes with us and maybe be featured on the front page of the site.Also, be sure to check out our featured favorites on the recipes page and don't forget to add one of your favorites as well.'

Green Beer!

'Top of the brewin' to you! March should be national beer drinking month and let's face it with the all mighty St. Patrick's Day coming we had to dedicate this month's article to exactly that! Did you know The first year St. Patrick's Day was celebrated in America in 1737 in Boston, Massachusetts? The first official St. Patrick's Day parade was held in New York City in 1766 and as the saying goes, on this day "everybody is Irish!" Over 100 U.S. cities now hold Saint Patrick's Day parades. So if that saying is true, get the green beer and drink to the Irish that's in all of us!'

Love Beer? Love is in the beer!

'What's more romantic then a home brewed beer? This month we want to tip our hats to relationships..... the relationship between the brewer and his beer! We all know relationships have ups and downs, as does your beer. We have all gone from recipe to recipe and then one day finally coming across that perfect recipe that makes up your favorite batch (until, of course you find something new). While some relationships seek counceling, others read books and try new things, but when your having trouble with your relationship we offer the knowledge base. Any questions you have, feel free to check out this never ending , always updating fountain of information. And remember, L is for the way we L-O-V-E to brew!!'
